What building with real therapists taught us

Early versions of Bee-booked run in working treatment rooms before they ship. The corrections we get back are worth more than any roadmap.

From the start, Bee-booked has been shaped in real practices — every feature tried by working practitioners on real diaries before it reaches anyone else. The kind words are lovely. The corrections are the valuable part.

Buttons that touch money must say so

The first thing we learned is that nobody presses a button they do not fully trust — and quite right too. If a practitioner suspects that “complete” might also mean “charge”, they will simply never press it, and the software quietly stops being used. So in Bee-booked, anything that moves money names the amount on the button, and everything else plainly cannot.

Automation should ask first

We assumed loyalty stamps should just happen. The practitioners disagreed: a stamp is a small act of generosity, and they wanted to be the ones giving it. So the checkout asks, with a sensible default, and the therapist decides. Software that asks gets used; software that acts behind your back gets switched off.

Meet the practice where it is

Practices arrive with habits and history — payments taken at the desk, loyalty stamps on a card by the kettle, clients who have been coming for years. The software’s job is to carry all of that across, not to demand a fresh start. It is why you can record a cash payment, set a starting balance on a loyalty card, and move your client list over as it is.

The doors are open now. If you would like software shaped this way, the first 30 days are free — and if you try it and something in your day does not fit, we genuinely want to hear about it.

Like the sound of simple?

Bee-booked is open — 30 days free, then £10 a month flat, with the price locked in for good.
